When I was younger, I wanted to keep my skin looking youthful and fresh as I grew older.
From my youth, I tried many things on the market that I could afford to hide my frequent teenage skin breakouts, and what became skin discolouration from the products I was using and from allergies to the chemicals in those products. My friends and I and our Mums must have spent a fortune trying to fix these problems.
It wasn’t until I read “What Your Skin Is Eating” some 30 years later, that I realised exactly what was causing the the problems I had. I was lathering my skin with toxic chemicals for three reasons – my ego, peer pressure and advertising, and I had been doing that for over 40 years!
I now use ACO Certified Organic (no chemicals) skincare products, and I do not use any product with Fragrance in it. My skin is radiant and glowing, I do not need to wear heavy make-up any more, and I am constantly being complimented about how good my skin is looking, from people who have known me for a long while.
